NAMI Colorado is active in following current legislation and advocating to decision makers about the needs of people with mental illness and their families. NAMI Colorado has a Public Policy Committee that meets regularly to consider positions on legislation and to make recommendations to the NAMI Colorado Board of Directors about actions to take and then goes to work advocating for positive change. If you would like to apply to be part of the Public Policy Committee, please email Grace Walsh for more information.
